Creator Policy

1. Application and profile review

Every creator profile is reviewed by the Circlio team prior to publication. This process protects the trust our brand and network partners place in the platform. You may complete your profile while your application is under review; it will publish automatically once approved.

2. Creator compensation only

Circlio compensates creators directly. Commission may not be shared, rebated, or otherwise passed on to shoppers, as doing so reclassifies Circlio as an incentivized-traffic source — a model most advertisers explicitly prohibit.

• ✗ Cashback, discounts, or refunds offered to shoppers
• ✗ Points, gift cards, or credit redeemable for monetary value
• ✗ Prize draws or giveaways contingent on a purchase made through your link
• ✗ Compensating any third party for clicking your links

• ✓ Non-monetary recognition, such as supporter badges
• ✓ Disclosing that purchases made through your link support your work

3. Accurate representation

All promotional content must be truthful. Do not fabricate product claims or reviews, or present yourself as an official representative of a brand or of Circlio. Brand names and logos may be used only within the usage guidelines each brand provides.

4. No paid search on brand terms

Creators may not run paid advertising (for example, Google Ads or Meta Ads) that bids on an advertiser's name or trademarks to generate clicks. Most advertisers prohibit this practice; promote your link through your own owned audience instead.

5. Lawful and appropriate content

Circlio is a community platform, and all content shared through it must remain lawful and appropriate for a general audience.

• ✗ Adult or sexual content, nudity, or graphic violence
• ✗ Alcohol, gambling, tobacco, weapons, or other restricted goods
• ✗ Hate speech, harassment, scams, or misleading claims

6. Genuine traffic only

All traffic driven through Circlio links must originate from real users with real intent. Spam, cookie-stuffing, self-clicks, bots, automated redirects, and any software or browser extension that injects or overwrites affiliate links are strictly prohibited.

7. Disclosure

Creators must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship with Circlio to their audience. Simple, honest disclosure is sufficient to remain compliant with advertising standards in most jurisdictions.

8. Brand and regional restrictions

Certain brands restrict eligible countries, traffic sources, or promotional methods. Creators are responsible for observing these restrictions and must not promote a brand where doing so is not permitted.

9. One account, one identity

Each Circlio account must represent a genuine individual or organization. Impersonation, duplicate accounts, or any other misuse of the platform is not permitted.

10. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in suspension or removal of a creator's account. Because non-compliance by a single creator can jeopardize Circlio's relationships with every brand and network partner, this policy is enforced to protect the wider creator community.
